I replaced my headlight lenses and installed smoked corner indicators. The headlight washers were the biggest pain in the ass.

Yeah I like how they look more than the stock clear/reflective. It looks a lot more cohesive, now I need to get the smoked side markers!

Thanks! I think it would look a little better on Titanium silver or Alpine white but it looks pretty mean in Jet black.

The only thing I’d say there is that a white car is easier to keep clean than a black one - I’ve had both. I think those lamps look great, and I suppose you’ll a better view at night.

Looks really good and a lot fresher. Have you thought about swapping the amber bulbs for Philips chrome bulbs, they still flash amber, it eliminates the ‘yolk effect’ (the orange of the bulb being reflected around the chromed lenses).

Yeah I pretty much regret getting it in black, but it was a good price for a mechanically sound car so I couldn't pass it up.

I am actually a pretty big fan of the egg yolk look so I'm going to keep the amber bulbs. Might do the clear bulbs on the side markers.

Cool. I think the yolk effect works with some cars where it doesn’t with others. The jaffa (where an orange piece of plastic put in front of a clear bulb behind a clear lense) look is same in regards to what cars it suits also.

When I had my E46 I also replaced my headlight lenses (looks great btw), and the headlight washer got stuck in the open position. First it shot me in the face, then it continued to empty my entire washer fluid reservoir on the ground. Luckily since this happened with the first one, I didn't have to worry about it happening with the second.
